Quentin Top
Formé au noir et blanc argentique et à la photo « humaniste » par le photographe Claude Simon et son Atelier Nomade en 2009, Quentin s’est rapidement tourné vers le photo-journalisme.
Basé à Pau, dans les Pyrénées Atlantiques il collabore avec la presse Française et notamment avec le journal Sud-Ouest pour lequel il couvre l’actualité locale. Il ne laisse néanmoins pas de côté l’actualité nationale ou internationale.
Ses différents reportages l’emmènent régulièrement autour du monde : il a couvert entre autres la révolution Égyptienne, le séisme au Népal en 2015, la révolution des Parapluies à Hong Kong en 2014 ou encore le grand pèlerinage Maha Kumbh Méla en Inde en 2013.
Quentin collabore également avec l’ONG Médecins Du Monde.
Il a été finaliste du prix Bayeux des correspondants de guerre en 2012, Coup de cœur ANI à VISA 2015. Deux fois récompensés par les « photographies de l’année » en 2015 et 2016.
Trained in black and white gelatin silver print and in “humanist” photography by the photographer Claude Simon and his Atelier Nomade (mobile photography school) in 2009, Quentin quickly turned to photo-journalism.
Based in Pau in the Pyrenees Atlantique, he works with the French press and in particular with the “Sud-Ouest” newspaper for whom he covers local news. However hasn’t turned his back on national and international news.
His various reports regularly take him around the world: among other things he has covered the Egyptian revolution, the Nepal earthquake in 2015, the Umbrella Revolution in Hong Kong in 2014 and the Maha Kumbh Mela pilgrimage in India in 2013.

He was a finalist for the Bayeux war correspondants prize in 2012, a favourite of the ANI (Association des Iconographes) at the Visa festival in 2015 and also rewarded twice by the “photographie de l’année” (photograph of the year competition) in 2015 and 2016.
